For almost 3 years now, starting since 2013, the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has conducted a clean zone program which focuses on developing back alleys. It was definitely a brave move, but as of now, it has been worth it. The art project is a collaboration between the MBSA, Muamalat Bank as well as the UiTM students and they have called it “THE STREET ART PROJECT NO 0.2 (Laman Seni 2)”. This site is superbly brilliant and portrayed a number of art projects by the students of UiTM and ever since it has been receiving quite a number of a visit from tourists and locals alike. The best thing about this place is, they are open to the public at any time of the day.

#2 Wei-Ling Gallery

At Tripfez, we are a big fan of art, so pardon us as this second spot is still related to art. Wei-Ling Gallery is not as famous among tourists as probably, it will mostly only attract those who love Arts. But, art is very subjective, right? And if you have the chance to come here, do check it out as this gallery focuses on nurturing and promoting the best of contemporary art in our country. These past few years, they have been working diligently and have represented some of Malaysia’s most prominent contemporary artists. What is unique and uncommon about this art gallery is that they have an intensive effort on pushing the boundaries of art. Something uncommon with the rest of the art galleries around the city.

#6 Try the Fish Spa in Central Market

Massages at spas are pretty common, especially in a metropolitan city. But the fish spa? Not so much. So, you can try and head to the Cute Fish Spa in Central Market. Here, you can see people sitting on a bright red bar stools while having their feet dangling in the water. Why do they do this? It is because they are allowing the small, toothless Garra Rufa fish (Doctor Fish) to help clean the dead skin cells and while doing that, the fishes also micro-massage your feet. How relaxing?
