This is one of our personal favorites out of the many halal buffets offered in Penang. Why? Simply because it caters to the vegetarian minority. Annalaskhmi is located in the blissful Temple of Fine Arts. This comfortable restaurant radiates calming energy with pretty portraits and sculptures alongside an inviting garden. Here, you can expect to eat a genuine vegetarian Indian cooking buffet. What makes this place different is that they have zero tolerance to artificial preservation and ingredients. And to top it off,, this halal buffet restaurant has the cheapest price amongst all the other restaurants on this list.

Previously known as the Coffee Garden situated at the Lower Ground of Hotel Equatorial Penang, Nada Lama which translates to “Yesterday’s Melody” is a restaurant that has gone through a major makeover. The new look is inspired by the Colonial as well as the ‘Peranakan’ origin. The interior décor of the restaurant has a modern vibe to it yet very simple and inviting. Currently they offer a few types of buffet themes and which are all certified Halal.
