T: A short bio about yourself? 3-4 lines that best describe you, what you do for a living and so…

A: I’m Addy Adnan and I’m 26 years old this year. Crazy headed. Whatever dare/thrill or adrenaline junkie thing got into my head I’ll do it. Currently in the oil and gas business as a Night Drilling Supervisor (we called it ‘nightman’). Former drilling engineer.

T: What you would want to be known for besides travelling? (something that no one knows about you)

A: Montage and animation business. I’m only doing it when I’m off from rig.

T: What inspires you to travel and try various adventurous activities

A: Do it for the ‘likes’!! Hahaha Nah, I’m kidding. I just love ’em. Love the sceneries, love the hardship, love the experience.

T: Besides adventure, what excites you more when you’re travelling? Meeting new people? Experiencing a new culture? Food?

A: To do what others doesn’t do. Something like getting out from 38 °C hot spring into -5 °C ambient or, try backflipping from 20m bridge into the river.

T: What would like to say to Muslims about travelling?

A: Travelling is so much easier than you can imagine. You just have to know where’s your Qiblah, when’s the prayer time, where to get halal food and everything will be okay. Just go. Step out of your doorstep in search of knowledge, be that kind of Muslim.
