Below, we have shared with you some of our favourite international fashionable hijabistas on Instagram that we look up to for inspiration ourselves and we believe that you should do too!

Vivy Yusof makes us green with envy with her incredible personal style and work ethic! When it comes to fashion, this stunning Malay describes her style as modest chic and executes the modest look without having to compromise her beliefs. From city girl chic to casual everyday wear, Vivy is able to pull off any look effortlessly. Whether attending Malaysia Fashion Week fashion shows or roaming the busy streets of Kuala Lumpur, nothing stops Vivy from making an impact in the world of Muslim fashion.
Being an influential Malaysian fashionista Vivy has graced the covers of multiple magazines such as Hijabista, HerWorld and Prestige making her mark on not only the fashion scene but also being recognised as an entrepreneur by Forbes (30 Under 30).

It’s an online clothing store that sells limited edition clothing from designers across Southeast Asia. This British Muslimah fashionista is a prominent figure in the blogosphere. Dina started the Muslimah style movement in the UK back in 2012 and since then she has opened doors leading the fashionable yet modest movement for fellow Muslim women to take the leap and express themselves through fashion.
Dina Tokio is known for her colourful individual style as well as her humorous personality. Her style has been well-received globally as she is very experimental with patterns and colours. Dina is the definition of no limits when it comes to fashion, as she also used to sell personalised vintage clothing just a few years ago which then transitioned into her exhilarating fashion line.
Dina always had excellent entrepreneur skills; she uses Youtube and Instagram as a platform in growing her brand to stamp out the stereotypes and separating women who choose to dress modestly from the term oppressed. Using her voice she is paving the way for all other Muslim fashion gurus in Europe.
This style maven has been featured in fashion campaigns such as H&M alongside gracing the covers of fashion magazines such as Marie Claire, Glamour Magazine and Blogosphere Magazine. We truly cannot wait to see which direction Dina is headed next!
Saufeeya Goodson
Dubai-based Saufeeya Goodson or known as Saufeeya on Instagram has 300k + followers thanks to her excellent take on hijabista fashion and how she was able to express herself through her style. From her effortless streetwear ensembles to Soho Chic styles, Saufeeya has captured the attention of designers worldwide.
Saufeeya is also the co-founder of HijabFashion, an Instagram account that is dedicated to celebrating Muslim women. Hijab Fashion was created to cater to those who can to relate to Muslimah fashion and are looking for modest styles that are more important than revealing clothes. Saufeeya’s intention is to empower women in the Muslim community and encourage them to find their own personal style.
From being featured in Vogue, Emirates Woman and recently becoming one of the new faces of Namshi, Saufeeya is an unstoppable force in the fashion industry. With the world of modest fashion growing in leaps, this Instagram Muslimah presents styles that would be appropriate for both hijabis and non-hijabis and is becoming a noteworthy figure in the fashion industry.
Tasnim Shah
This Malaysian stunner caught our attention because of the simplicity of her style, at the same time remaining vibrant yet elegant. Tasnim optimises the everyday girl-next-door, “yes, that is something I would wear” looks because of the simplicity of her style. She has a nice mix of styles from streetwear that is on-trend to fancy elegant chic outerwear. We love that Tasnim incorporates traditional Malay wear (Baju Kurung) with modern modest wear. It’s something that is very refreshing to see, the mixture of tradition and modernity.
At only 19, Tasnim has become an influence in the Malaysian Instagram community, currently with 327 thousand followers and counting. Her popularity has already captured the attention of fashion and beauty brands. She has been featured in Losravelda Losra Ready-to-wear 2016 collection. This Instagram hijabista also reviews beauty products sent by brands to give her honest review something that she is well-known for. In 2017, Tasnim made a major accomplishment by launching her own cosmetics brand, Tasnim Shah Cosmetics where she created her own formula of liquid lipsticks creating three universal shades.
Tasnim cites Neelofa and Vivy Yusof as her “icons of my life” inspired by their work ethic, she dreams of similar success. Her warm personality is capturing the hearts of many and it seems that this is only the beginning for Tasnim and she is not stopping anytime soon.
Ascia AKF
Kuwaiti fashion designer and blogger Ascia AKF has been the one hottest Instagram hijabistas over the last couple of years amassing 2.1m Instagram followers. Ascia uses Instagram as a platform to help Muslim girls in finding their own sense of style. She educates and inspires her followers about fashion and personal style by giving tips and creating lookbooks.
Ascia’s bubbly and approachable personality makes her loveable a reason as to women are so drawn to her. Her fashion sense is creative; being a fashion designer she knows what works well for her. Other than that, being a mother enables her to help and inspire women who are going through trouble dressing right for their pregnancy. Ascia began giving an insight into her private life discussing the hardships she had been facing once she became a mother, which many women found relatable.
Her career in fashion skyrocketed when Ascia released her own designs with Riva, a popular Middle Eastern fashion chain after collaborating with them for many years. Ascia is known for not following the latest trends or resembling the fashionable norm. She creates her own trend and follows her own rules, and whatever Ascia wears, women want to wear it too.
When it comes to Muslimah fashion there isn’t a set look and these women have illustrated that through their personal style. They have taught us that the style is different between individuals, it is a personal interpretation of yourself without deviating away from our morals and standards.
