The 46th edition of MATTA Fair continues to be the favourite hunting ground for travel deals – from the usual crowd favourites to off-the-beaten-track destinations.
To cater to the ever-changing taste in travelling, this fair will also feature more off-the-beaten-track packages such as safari tours in Kenya as well as chasing the aurora borealis in Finland and Norway.
There will be local cultural dances from states such as Sarawak as well as cultural performances from countries such as Indonesia, Taiwan and Japan.
At this year's expo, Perak Tourism will promote Muslim tour packages that provide halal food and prayer facilities for holiday destinations such as China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Europe.
Estimated 35,000 visitors to join this fair which starts from 10 am - 10 pm.
It also estimated more tourists from abroad to visit the state in the recent years as Perak offers many interesting destinations such as MAPS, Pulau Pangkor, Royal Belum State Park, Gua Tempurung and Kellie's Castle.
Visitors to the September Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) Sarawak Chapter’s 13th Sarawak Matta Fair 2018 will stand a chance to win a new Huaiwei Nova 3i smartphone in a daily lucky draw.
The three-day fair will take place September 7 to 9, from 10am to 10pm at CityOne Megamall.
Entry fee is RM2 for adults 18 and above. Children can enter for free.
