You might not have a month to explore all the wonders that Hong Kong has to offer but that should not stop you from taking that much-desired trip. Here, we have highlighted some of our personal picks on the must-go places in our Hong Kong itinerary that will help you plan your next trip to Hong Kong, and make the most out it.

Reach for the stars at The Avenue of the Stars

If Hollywood in Los Angeles has the Walk of Fame to celebrate the film industry’s finest, The Avenue of Stars pays tribute to homegrown names that helped make Hong Kong the ‘Hollywood of the East’. Spot more than a hundred of your favourite celebrities’ handprints here and interact with Bruce Lee and Anita Mui using Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Don’t forget to take photos and enjoy the spectacular views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong skyline!

Walk down the historical lane at the Clock Tower

A memorable landmark for millions of Chinese immigrants, today the 44 metres tall Clock Tower located on the southern shore of Tsim Sha Tsui Kowloon provides a perfect memento of proof that you set foot on the sole remnants of the historical Kowloon railway station.

‘Lost’ in history at 1881 Heritage

Once upon a time a Victorian-era Hong Kong, 1881 Heritage was the headquarters of Hong Kong Marine Police from the 1880s to 1996 where pirates and smugglers were imprisoned. Fast forward to today, the site features a shopping mall for visitors to shop for international fashion brands and fine dining restaurants, and several buildings and artefacts of historical interest have been preserved and restored, including the Former Marine Police Headquarters and the Time Ball Tower.

Did you know that back then, the Time Ball Tower provides a service that is so vital to crew ships in Victoria Harbour – giving accurate chronometers by dropping a ball before their long journey so they won’t get lost in the sea! Now that’s interesting, isn’t it!

A relaxing boat ride along Aberdeen Fishing Village

Step up your photo game with this picture-perfect experience while getting acquainted with the local fishermen lifestyle in this charming fishing village of Aberdeen and home to one of the world’s largest floating seafood restaurants, the Jumbo Kingdom. This is where you will get modernity meets tradition with skyscrapers overlooking a community living on traditional junks at the typhoon shelter of Aberdeen Harbour.

One of the world’s most spectacular views from The Peak

Ever wonder how you can get that spectacular view of Hong Kong’s cityscapes just like the one from any HK drama series or movies? Well, here at Victoria Peak or The Peak, you will be able to get that postcard-worthy photo embedded in your mind and memory card. There are a few ways you can get to the highest point of Hong Kong; either by the Peak Tram, Green Mini Bus or our tour bus.

While you are up here, you can also pose next to Jackie Chan at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, shop and dine at Peak Galleria, or marvel at the view from Peak Tower’s Sky Terrace 428.

Shop till you drop at Ladies Street

Don’t go home empty-handed without visiting the infamous Ladies Street, also known as the Tung Choi Street, where you can get deals and bargains on anything your heart desires from cosmetics to the latest outfits. The best time to head there would be in the evening as it provides a livelier insight into Hong Kong’s bargain shopping scene.

And lastly,

Spend a day at Hong Kong Disneyland

Nobody leaves Hong Kong without visiting the enchanting Disneyland Hong Kong. As the first Disneyland to be opened in China, this magical theme park marks a memorable experience for all, regardless of age. Spend a day meeting Mickey and Minnie in the flesh, experience adrenaline-pumping rides and savour the scrumptious cartoon-themed dim sum at Crystal Lotus.

Excitingly, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) has opened its newest Marvel attraction, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! on March 31, 2019. It is now the world’s first attraction featuring Ant-Man and The Wasp, as well as the first Marvel-themed attraction featuring a female Super Hero as a lead character.
