Xien Chao!

Last month, our CEO, Faeez Fadhillah and team member, Zawen had the best Vietnamese experience as they explored Vietnam’s capital city, Hanoi for Tripfez’s own travelogue series! You can watch the four-episode series every Monday, 8.45pm on TV Al-Hijrah.

In the first episode, Faeez and Zawen shared their experience and tips on halal restaurants, attractions, shopping, and more!

Before we join them on their tour, it’s good to know some facts about Hanoi:

“Hanoi, located on the banks of the Red River, is one of the most ancient capitals in the world, where travellers can find well-preserved colonial buildings, ancient pagodas, and unique museums within the city centre. It has a multi-cultural community that’s made up of Chinese, French and Russian influences. Furthermore, its tranquil countryside is a short drive away, featuring lush parks, beautiful mountains, and traditional villages, and not forgetting, the iconic Ha Long Bay.”

Recap of the First Episode

As soon as they landed in Noi Bai International Airport, they were greeted by the friendly tour guide and boy, they were famished from their 3-hour flight! They were driven to a halal restaurant and 45 minutes later, they’ve arrived at Red House. Muslims would be delighted to see a huge “Halal” logo being displayed at the entrance. The restaurant is famous for delicious Vietnamese and Singaporean food spread and seafood. Yum!

After a day of exploring Sunworld Complex, it’s time to feed the tummy. Faeez and Zawen had their dinner at Ha Long Bay’s first halal restaurant, Sri Rembau.
